Half way there! That's where we are in this pregnancy journey of ours. At 20 weeks we are smack dab in the middle and my little cantaloupe is growing fast! I feel great. I have more energy and not to big and clumsy yet. =) Ok i admit, clumsiness is a normal part of my life, even when i'm not pregnant! But what i mean is that right now i can still bend over to tie my shoes or paint my nails or pick up Elijah's socks that he's forever fulling off.
We have another ultrasound at the end of the week. I'm really looking forward to that! I'm hoping we'll be able to find out if we're having a boy or girl!
Geoff feels like everyone thinks we're having a girl. I told him not everyone does but that i'd put a poll up and see. =) So look for the poll on the side bar and leave your vote! And no, we're not having twins, so i'm not putting that up as an option. Our last ultrasound ruled that out. =)
Some of you have been asking for a picture. So i'll try and get one up here by the end of the day. It finally looks like a baby bump and not just extra weight i've put on!

Baby's Development at Week 20 of Pregnancy.
By the time you are 20 weeks pregnant, your baby is starting to grow hair on his or her head! Other fetal development that typically takes place around week 20 of pregnancy includes the following:
A protective, waxy skin covering (called vernix caseosa) is forming to protect the baby's skin from the amniotic fluid
Delicate eyebrows are forming
If your baby is a girl, her uterus is starting to develop
Your baby's skin is thickening and developing layers, including the dermis, epidermis, and subcutaneous layer
Nail growth begins.
A blog award from Becky, Alicia and Kelly! Thank you all for thinking of me!
It's so much fun making new friends this way! I love it!
Thanks Kelly!
Kelly is a new blogger. She is from the beautiful state of Pennsylvania.
