With temperatures rising into the 80's in Anchorage this week and much higher in other parts of the state we decided it was time to hit the creek and cool off in the cold water.
Can you believe this little gem is just a couple miles from our house in the middle of the city?!
We found this little "beach" on a walk last week and knew this would be the place to come on a hot afternoon.
I couldn't believe we had the place to ourselves for the most part.
The water was cold and refreshing. The perfect place to spend a couple hours this afternoon.
