Alaska Native Heritage Center

Alaska Native Heritage Center
May 23rd

These boys were demonstrating traditional Alaskan games.

We toured different native homes from around the state. Many of the homes from up north were dug into the earth since they didn't have many or any trees around for building homes.

This is how to keep your food out of reach from hungry animals.

 Whale jaw bones.

Totem poles were used to tell a story.
