L.E.N.S photo challenge, A love of reading

We're starting our drive to Florida tomorrow morning! Please pray for us! I don't think any of us are looking forward to the two day drive.

I'm entering this photo into a link up at a new blog I found today, Home Is Where You Start From. The theme is "a love of reading".

Enjoy your long weekend!

Hello Melissa, thanks for your nice comment on my blog.
I love you pic as well. It reminds me when my children were MUCH younger and we used to read to them. One of my daughters always carried some book around and I was reading for hours and hours - loved it.
Now my 19 year old reads to my 16 year old - and they have a great time together - but of course don't want that I take pictures....
I like your blog and be back...

Great photo, Melissa!

Do you have a portable dvd player? Thomas and other great kid videos really do help them pass the time.

Another hint: We would stop somewhere with a play place and eat while we let the kids play, then we would let them eat their food in the car once we were back on the road. It made it fun for them and they also got to expend some energy!

When all else fails - benadryl works! :)

Loved the picture! And pictures of Dad and kids are rare when compared to those of Mom and Kids. And this picture truly captures the moment!

Have a safe journey :)
