We left behind the Florida sunsets and welcomed a Missouri sunrise. Our school campus is over three hundred acres set on the Lake of the Ozarks.
It was pretty cold when we arrived here so the lake had frozen.
Geoff wanted to go walk on it before it melted...
My mom and Ethan all bundled up!
On Monday we had to take my mom to the airport. We were very tempted to kidnap her and keep her here with us! But we thought of dad all alone waiting for her back in Florida and sadly sent her home.
Then we dropped Elijah off at my Aunt and Uncles house and he enjoyed playing in the snow with their two little girls while Geoff and I went grocery shopping.
I'm seriously going to miss a shower in my house but the boys didn't seem to mind the new arrangements at all...

Looks cold, I bet it's pretty though!!
I like the bath idea for the boys. It's almost like a camping bath!!
Keep us updated on your interesting activities!
You know, while you are at Wal-Mart today, they have those Christmas Bins to store stuff that are twice as big as that rubbermaid you are using now...you could get both boys in at the same time!!!!!
Oh Melissa,
What a fun adventure you are all on. All except not have a shower or a bath. I myself would be a bit sad not to be able to take a long bubble bath :o) But you seem to have overcome that in a huge stride to keep the kiddos clean! What a great invention!!
I can say that you are a whole heck of a lot closer to my neck of the woods now than Ireland. Hello neighbor! I'm just across the border to the west in Kansas!! And the snow is still having a hard time melting even though it is 45 degrees today!!
Enjoy getting settled!!
Smiles from Kansas :O) SB
I'm glad that you are there and getting settled in!
What cute pictures!
Look at that baby boy in that make-shift tub! You're good my friend! What ingenuity!
Cant wait to see it all! Love the tub idea, so clever!
I remember that, but since we had just come from 'boot camp' we were so thrilled to have a bathroom in our apt that it didn't feel to bad to have to walk to the shower! We were very near the showers and the laundry area. It would be fun to come for a visit!
We will be praying for you all and the adjustments of child care and classes and culture study. Do they still do 'dobu?'
Wow, I would miss the shower too. But your view is lovely!
