When is it time for a nap?

I'm trying to type here but my fingers are half frozen. I've been washing apples, potatoes and carrots from the garden and the water coming out of the tap is freezing!

There's so much in the garden and i've found I love making baby food! So that's what i've been doing this morning. I steamed some apples and made applesauce yesterday and today i jarred some for Ethan.

Speaking of Ethan it' s pretty easy to tell when he's ready for his nap.

He'll be interested in everything around him and playing fine one moment...

Then the eye rubbing starts...

And the holding of the head...

And the fussing starts...

"Put me to bed now before somebody get hurt!"

NAP TIME!
Nite nite you all!

If you think of it could you pray for us tonight? We have another meeting to speak at. I hate leaving my boys at bed time. It's definitely made me thankful for the nights I do get to be the one to put them to bed.

I just looked on google maps and it's going to take us an hour and a half to get there. I don't want to complain. I am thankful for these times to share and meet new people. I just want to be home at the same time!

Updated: I just wanted to add a picture of the church in Armagh. The meeting went well last night and it only took about an hour to get there. The drive was nice. We had a nice chat over a cup of tea and sandwiches after the meeting.

Thank you Lord for your grace and encouragement.

Absolutely, praying that God is with you during this meeting tonight, and that he gives you strength to sustain you during these times away from the boys. May He wrap his arms around them giving them comfort while they sleep and security knowing that mommy and daddy will be home soon!!

Blessings and Hugs,
~Tanya

awwww Melissa, Ethan really lets you know when he's ready to nap! He's the cutest little thing...even sleepy!
The good thing about children is that they are so very resilient. Even though you don't put him to bed some nights, your is the face he sees when he wakes up the next morning!
I hope you had a good meeting~ I'm at a point in my life where I could REALLY use a good meeting!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend~

He may be the cutest cranky baby ever, though!

I died laughing at "Put me to bed before somebody gets hurt!"

Praying for you tonight. Wish I could be there to help in any way you'd need.

I'd drive those 90 minutes for you in a heart beat.
