Carrie, your comment made me smile. Yeah, it took more than a band aid to patch up this booboo. Geoff actually took a picture of his leg with his cell phone in the hospital before they patched him up! One of the first things he said to me when i met him at the hospital was "do you want to see a picture?" It was hard enough seeing him in the hospital, i'm glad i didn't see his leg like it was in that picture! He kindly offered me the picture to put on my blog but I had to turn him down for fear of my loyal readers abandoning my for posting such gory photos! But here's a look at it today after they stapled him up!
The story was that Geoff was up in the tree doing his work when a branch he had just cut jumped back and pushed the saw into his leg. He said it didn't hurt like you'd think it would right away. He climbed down out of the tree and Dave called 911 and Geoff took his second ambulance ride in three months. If it were up to me i don't think i'd let him back in a tree with a chainsaw for awhile... maybe never.
Anyway, he's doing great at home so far. Keeping his leg straight and taking his antibiotics regularly.
Aunt Deanna, thanks for the invitation, we would love to visit you! I can't make any promises though.

OUCH!!! It sounds like it could have been so much worse, God was definitely looking out for him.
You mean they didn't stitch any flowers or leaves????
WOW! i'm so glad he wasn't hurt too horribly bad! Hope he has a very speedy recovery!!
