What's your favorite Christmas Carol?

We've been busy wrapping presents, baking, decorating the tree, and going to parades. This time it was the Orange City Christmas parade and I helped them had out candy and little flashlights with the company number on them. Unlike the last parade this one was at 11:00am so the sun was directly over head and really hot! It was fun though. Geoff hung off the side of the truck and waved. We all got to wear bright red hardhats. Elijah tried mine on afterwards. He enjoyed the parade from the sidelines. Thank you mom for taking care of him this morning!
That's two down and one to go! That's right, the DeBary parade is tomorrow! It's good advertising for West Volusia Tree Service!
Kelly drove the kaboda and it carried a huge long with NOEL written on it and their big chain saw in it!

I let Elijah color on some brown craft paper and used it to wrap some gifts!

Christmas Question...

What is your favorite Christmas Carol?

And your favorite Holiday Movie?

Mine is O Holy Night. I love the words and the music. It seems to wrap up the whole Christmas story so wonderfully!

We watch It's A Wonderful Life every year as a family so that's a favorite of mine. I also love The Muppet's Christmas Carol!

I love Silent Night!

And movies, I do love "It's A Wonderful Life" but I have a new favorite, "The Nativity Story". It is one we will watch year after year. Another favorite is "Holiday Inn" with Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire.

Fun!

Can I trade the movie for a story? It would have to be The Best Christmas Pagaent Ever! This is a story about the Herdmans, a motley group of children, who end up playing all of the key roles in a church nativity with amazing results. It is funny and sweet all at once. We read it aloud each year.

As for a favorite Christmas song or carol... Silent Night, Joy to the World, There are so many!

Your parade "float" is clever! My favorite Christmas movies are "Little Women" and "Home Alone". My daughter and I watch them every year.
