New Etsy Shop!

As a mom of two young boys I desire to raise them to be like Jesus who was caring and considerate of others. I think one way of doing that is to teach them to think about others and give what they can to help those in need. Sponsoring a child through Compassion is one way of reaching out and connecting with a child who has less. You can write to your sponsored child and even visit them in their home country if you like!

In order to help raise the funds to sponsor a child we have opened an Etsy shop selling photo canvases of some of my pictures.

All canvas prints are gallery wrapped (print continues around all 4 sides) around a solid wood frame.

Your photo print will arrive with the hardware needed to hang. No framing necessary.

Watermark will not appear on your finished photo canvas.

Crystal's Bridal Portraits

Back in March when I was in Florida after Ethan's birth Crystal got in her wedding dress and we went to the beach to take some bridal portraits. I wasn't allowed to show these before because we didn't want fiance' Andrew to know about them! Crystal printed some off and put them in an album as a gift for him.

We took a ton of pictures, some were good, some were not so good. Here are a few of my favorites.

I just realized today that I'm not leaving until Thursday. I thought i was leaving on Wednesday. So i'll have to wait an extra day to hug these two sweet boys of mine!

Fix It Friday

I just learned yesterday how to color part of a black and white photo! I thought today would be a good chance to practice to see if i could do it without looking at the directions.

Bouquet of Smiles

This week is a special week at I ♥ Faces. We're only allowed to enter one picture so here is mine. This is the one that received the most "votes" this morning. Thanks to those of you who shared your opinion! It's fun to hear what you think.

This bouquet of smiles was taken just this morning of my three year old Elijah. The flowers came from friends who visited on Saturday night. Click here to see pictures from that evening of games!

Which one should I enter into the I ♥ Faces challenge this week? We're supposed to enter our favorite face picture. These are all of Elijah. A & C were taken August of 2007 right after we'd moved into our new house in Florida. One of the first things we did was to plant some rose bushes out front. They always did so well and they were so much fun to watch grow and bloom.

Picture B was taken this morning while Elijah was still in his pajamas.

It's time for another I ♥ Faces entry! This week the theme is Laughter. It should be fun to see every ones entries!

But even more than the fun theme I'm excited about this week guest judge! The Pioneer Woman is joining in the fun and is going to be the one looking at and judging the winners! How cool is that?

The plan for today, after posting my laughter entries, is trying to make a gluten free version of her Yogurt Marmalade Cake.

Kids:

This is my darling little Ethan last week after a bath. He was all wrapped up in a towel and he's so ticklish I couldn't resist tickling his chubby little legs! I also couldn't resist trying to capture his adorable giggle



Adult:

A few years ago I flew out to Idaho to be in my friend Katy's wedding. I met her in England while I was going to bible school and she was in the same missionary training class as my future husband, Geoff. You can read about that in Part One of our story.

Katy is a lot of fun and you can always count on laughing a lot with her around.
