Blueberry Hill

My blueberry pickers.

Jayden lives downstairs in our apartment building and he stays with us while his mom is at work.

Our hiking group went to pick berries on Blueberry Hill this past Tuesday and it was such a glorious day! 

It was clear enough we could even see Mount McKinley resting on the horizon.

Sunset Over Anchorage

On Saturday my guys and I enjoyed a sunset from a mountain side overlooking Anchorage and the Cook Inlet. 

It was beautiful.

Anchorage

There was a lot more snow up there than we have down here in the city.

"The sun rises in the east and sets in the west." is what i've always though was true. 

It's not so true in January in Alaska...

Proof the sun is setting in the south.
