Enchanting Auroras

So I asked you in my last post at 2am how I was supposed to go to bed knowing the auroras were out so beautifully.

The answer is... I didn't. 

I went back out for a little while after my last post.

Even though I knew the kids would be up in a few hours and it would be rough waking up in the morning, I didn't want to miss a second of the light show! 

Now, i don't claim to be great at aurora pictures, and I didn't have a tripod, so i know these aren't the best pictures, and they could never do the real thing justice, but I still had fun trying to capture just a small hint of what they were like.

These next two are looking straight up above our heads.

I've been bitten by the "aurora bug" and can't wait to see them again.

Totally worth the lost sleep and fuzzy brain this morning!
