Project 365 Day 11 ~ An Evening with the Farrans

January 11th, 2014

January 11th was National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. It was also the day Mark and Jamie Farran came and showed a group of us the film Nefarious: Merchant of Soulswhich gives a graphic look into the issue of human trafficking.

Mark, Jamie and their little son Beckham are heading to Romania to serve with the church in Bucharest and Reach Global. It was a great evening hearing how God has already been opening doors and providing for the ministry over there that is the ONLY ministry currently for women and children stuck in slavery.

We say that slavery has vanished from European civilization, but this is not true. Slavery still exists, but now it applies only to women and its name is prostitution.

The Farrans are at 53% of their monthly financial needs committed! They would love to leave this summer but need to meet their goal of 100% committed before they can go. We can help!
