Sunshine + the Beach + my boys = Pure Joy

Yesterday we had an appointment in Daytona Beach for getting our mama cat spayed. We couldn't be that close to the beach and not visit so we made it a beach day. We decided to hang out in Daytona until it was time to pick Tiger Lily up at 3:30. The appointment was first thing in the morning so after dropping off our kitty we were at the beach by 9:30 and as you can see from the background we were the first ones there.

After hitting the splash pad we headed down to the sand and surf.

It started out as a beautiful clear morning with clouds building through out the day. 

The only thing missing was not having a good book with me to read or a friend to visit with.

After lots of swimming, chasing birds, and playground time we cleaned up and enjoyed lunch at this neat old dinner.

The boys chose to sit at the counter and ordered spaghetti.

After lunch we still had two hours before we had to pick up our kitty. So we drove around and ended up stopping to get 50cent cones while it poured the typical Florida afternoon thunderstorm. 

 Then it was back to the playground for a while as the clouds gathered again for another downpour.
It was a beautiful day fill with new memories made with my boys.
