Apples of Gold

I have to share with you my lovely morning.

Apples of Gold is a women's mentoring ministry based on Titus 2:3-5.

We were invited to Carol's welcoming home to be nurtured and mentored with a cooking lesson, a Bible study on kindness, lunch and fellowship.

This is Trudie showing us how to make pot-stickers or Chinese Dumplings.

We got hands on experience filling and folding the dumplings.

Then Trudie half fried, half steamed them to perfection.

After our cooking lesson we had a bible study on kindness.

The ladies set up the tables so beautifully.

There's just something special about finding your name and a place all set for you.

It was delicious  Oh my goodness, my taste buds were so happy!

There was even dessert but I was so into and enjoying my food that I forgot to take a picture of it. It was individual upside down pineapple cakes with fresh whipped cream.

Everything was so good. It was one of those meals where you ate slowly because you didn't want it to end. :)

Thank you to each of the ladies who had a part in putting together this lovely time. It was a blessing and encouragement to my heart.

I was a mentor in the Apples of Gold program at our previous church. It is a wonderful program.

Glad you get to participate in it!
