Country Roots and Cowboy Boots

We are sure enjoying our time with Geoff's dad and mom.

I feel like we've been on the go since they got here.
Wednesday: The Fair
Thursday and Friday: St Augustine
Saturday: Home, Packing for Cruise, Shopping
Sunday: Church, Dinner and afternoon with the Family

The Volusia County Fair made for an very fun evening on Wednesday.

The grandparents are spoiling the boys rotten!
They got them arm bands which allowed them to ride as many rides as they wanted.

This one was their favorite.

The highlight for me was visiting the exhibit hall and discovering that both photos Elijah entered had won a ribbon. He got a 2nd and 3rd place ribbon. His age group was 6-12 year olds so he was one of the youngest in his group.

We also really enjoyed the petting zoo.
I mean it's not every day you get to hug a kangaroo...

Other Memorable Moments:
The Sea Lion show.
Watching an egg hatch.
The animals.
Signing up to be a taste tester and judge in next years Fair.
The huge smiles and laughter of the kids on the rides.
The food!
The Gills got to try the classic fair food, Funnel Cake, for the first time.
Actually feeling cold!
