The Walk

Good morning!
It's a glorious sunny 50 degrees here in Central Florida this morning.
I'm getting to wear my warm slippers for the first time in over a year. It's wonderful! =)

Here's some pictures from our Saturday morning.

My mom picked the boys and I up for the Walk for Life fundraiser.

If you meant to donate but just didn't get around to it you can give anytime on the website here.

We weren't prepared for the windy weather so the boys got a bit cold that morning.
A kind lady lent us a blanket she found in her car.

Any chilliness was forgotten when we got to the cookies. =)

My mom was manning the water and cookie table so we hung out with her for a bit.

We walked past this adorable bakery and couldn't help but stop in for a soda on the walk back.

The nice couple running the bakery gave us a bag of old bread to feed the ducks on the nearby pond.

Thinking of my family and friends up north and praying Hurricane Sandy isn't too rough on you all!
How are you doing up there?

We are good! We have power and no damage at all!

Praise the Lord!
