Who ever said school wasn't fun?!

Elijah has had such a great experience in preschool this year. We've been blessed to have childcare a a preschool here on campus for the kids while we are in classes.

Here he is with his class.

Each morning as the kids arrive they have an activity at their seats. Play dough, puzzles, beads, things like that.

Then they'll have Circle Time where they do the pledges, have a weather report and learn about letters and numbers.

If the temperature is above 40 degrees they get to spend some time outside each morning. One time they went on a walkand collected leaves and rocks. Elijah came home with a bag of "treasures".

Play time...

Every Friday morning is Show and Tell. All the kids look forward to show and tell! Elijah usually has his item for show and tell picked out well in advance!

Once a semester they have Pajama Day! The kids get to go to school in their jammies!

About a week and a half ago the preschool class invited all the moms and dads to a tea party! The kids served us some yummy treats and then the kids sat down and teachers served the kids their food. It was so cute to see the kids carrying around the food and proudly serving all the parents.

Thanks for coming along on this little tour of preschool with us!

(Thanks to Elijah's teacher for all the photos!)

Enjoy your week!

I actually get emotional when I see or experience such moments like your tea party. The way they serve is full of love and excitment... That's how it should be for us.... :)

So fun! Jayden was in his first year too and he loved it!

How sweet! It brings back memories of visiting my boys' preschool classes and of helping in the preschool classes occasionally, before we became homeschoolers. I can't believe how big Elijah is getting. He's so cute!
