Monday Menu {Slow Cooker Lasagna}

The Cast of Characters

Slow Cooker Lasagna

1lb. Italian sausage
1 onion
3 cans (15oz each) Italian style tomato sauce
2 tsp dried basil leaves
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cup mozzarella cheese (8oz)
1 container (15 oz) part skim ricotta cheese
1 cup Parmesan cheese
15 lasagna noodles

1. Cook sausage & onion
Stir in tomato sauce, basil, salt

2. Mix together 1/2 mozzarella and all the other cheeses

3. Layer meat, then noodles then cheese.
Top with remaining noodles and meat sauce

4. Cover & Cook on low 4-6 hours

5. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese and cover until melted.

6. Enjoy!
