1.If you could have dinner with any person (past or present) who would it be?
Hmm, let's go with Victor Hugo since he wrote my favorite musical and lived in an interesting time.
2.What is your most embarrassing moment that you are willing to share with the blogging world?
The first one that comes to mind is the time i locked my keys and my young son in the van. At a gas station. Along with my phone. So i had to go inside and use their phone. They told me this happens (which made me feel a bit better) all the time and to call the police who then called the fire department. First the paramedics arrived and I had to withstand the curious and judgmental stares of all the other gas station customers while they worked on opening the door. Then just as they got the door open the fire truck comes tearing down the road with lights and sirens blaring! Yeah, not my brightest moment.
3.If you could only use one word to describe yourself, what would it be?
Can i change this question to one word to describe my life? I'd pick TRUST.
Who and what do i choose to trust in? I could trust in myself and my own strength but i've found that that doesn't work for long, if at all. No, i'd rather put my trust in the One who was here before time began. The One who sees my future and who loves me enough to give His life for me. My whole life has been a choice to trust or not to trust. Times of stepping out in faith and trusting that He will show us the next step. It's an adventure and one that I wouldn't trade for anything.
If you could find a word to describe me what would it be?
4.You found a machine that allows you to fast forward your life to a moment or to rewind your life to a certain moment, but it can only be used for one moment. Would you fast forward or rewind and to which moment would you choose?
I don't think i'd choose to go back. The moment i'm looking forward to the most is the moment i finally step into the Lord's presence.
"I can only imagine
When that day comes
When I find myself
Standing in the Son
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever
Forever worship You
I can only imagine"
5.What is your favorite simple blessing in life?
Hearing my two boys play and laugh together. Such a sweet sound and blessing to my heart.
