Trying to stay afloat!

That's what i feel like these days! I'm just trying to keep my head above water and keep up with everything!Aren't we all?

Homework is roling in at a furious rate. It's not really hard home work... yet. =) We have a lot of reading, a couple written assignments and some videos to watch. All good stuff! Just hard to fit into the short time after the kiddos are hugged, fed and tucked into bed and my own bed time! =)

That's why i'm not doing my reading right now. Currently i'm being shot with a water gun (minus the water) by a certain un-named three, soon to be four, year old. This kid also insists on asking a million and one questions an hour. =)

Then there's Ethan who after trying to eat his brother's crayons insists on throwing our shoes into the trash can and scattering cherrios all over the freshly swept kitchen floor. His nose hasn't stopped running all weekend and he took his first two steps on Thursday!

I'm not complaining! Not at all.
It's a priviledge to be here and studying with these other amazing people under some wonderful teaching. The things we are learning right now in class will one day be invaluble when we move into our ministry overseas. Actually, I take that back. It's not only going to be a benefit to us in the future. The things we are learning can be used right now!

I'm grateful to be here. I want to soak up all that I can while we are here. God is teaching me things outside of class as well. Please pray for an open and willing heart so I can learn what He wants me to learn.

Of course I'll always find time to snap some pictures of the beautiful Ozark sunrises!

The first two pictures are taken practicly out our back door. (we don't actually have a back door but that's besides the point!) And the last one is taken on my walk to class.

Thanks for coming along on this journey with me! I love hearing from you! If you have any questions, comments, criticisms... or want to tell me what the Lord's been doing in your life. Email me!

Ok, so the pictures Melissa...all I can say is "POSTCARDS!" :) I am ready when you are!

We will continue to pray that you stay afloat and that the kiddos continue to enjoy it out there and that Ethan realizes that cherrios on the floor are fun, I mean, er, not good for Mom!!!

Love you guys.

Beautiful photos! I completely understand the time issue. I always say that if I didn't need to sleep, I'd get more things done that I want to get done. However, not sleeping is not an option. The good Lord made our bodies to need that rest.

I have always loved our Camdenton property, although I've never really lived there in winter. :) Beautiful pictures!
