Angela's Christmas Giveaway

Before I head to bed here, i just wanted to tell you all about a giveaway a friend of mine is having on her blog!

Angela is a "in real life" friend. =) She's living in our house here in Florida and I couldn't ask for a better family to look after our little house. It's such a blessing to have peace of mind knowing that the house and things are being looked after. And she's taking care of my roses and they are still blooming away for her. That makes me happy to see. =)

Well, i wish you all a good night. Hopefully our boys will sleep well tonight. Poor little Ethan has been sick since Saturday night. He hardly ate today and has been running a fever this evening. I'm hoping it doesn't last too long! We have people to see and places to go! This is the first time i've seen him this sick.

Tomorrow my sister is taking Elijah and I out to see The Princess and the Frog.

I'll have to dig out and scan in the photo we have around here some where of me kissing a frog when i was little. My dad tried to convince me it would turn into a prince if i kissed it. Then he just sat back and snapped a photo and laughed when i did! I may have had to wait a few years but he was right...

... i got my prince!

The day after Christmas...

... we went to the beach!

Elijah was happy to see the fishing pole he had received last Christmas from his daddy.

It was a little chilly but so beautiful.

This was only Ethan's 2nd visit to the beach.

His first trip was back in June and he fell face first in the sand! But this time he was happy to crawl around on the board walk and keep an eye on everybody from up there.

Christmas 2009

I've been reading your Christmas stories and enjoying seeing all of your Christmas photos.

What a joy we had spending time with family and enjoying each others company.

Christmas Morning:

Our stocking pile keeps growing every year. This year we added a stocking for Ethan and Andrew.

 These photos and frames are a special gift from Eryn and her family. They are photos of the old barn on my Grandma's farm in New York. The farm my dad grew up on. The frames are made from wood from the barn.

Merry Christmas!

I really don't think time could go any faster than it already is! My goodness, welcome to December 23rd already!

We've been enjoying our time here in Florida. It's been relaxed just with spending time with family and some Christmas shopping. I'm excited to see Ethan enjoy his first Christmas!


 

Elijah has been sleeping great and has adjusted to the time change well. Ethan on the other hand is waking up multiple times a night and not sleeping well at all! So that in turn makes a tired mommy!

I wanted to post some photos of when we decorated our tree.

 Look at this beautiful little beaded angel that I received from my new bloggy friend and ornament swap partner KR. She is hanging proudly from the top of our tree. Thank you, KR for the lovely ornament!

 I found him shaking the presents under the tree when no one was looking! He takes after his momma apparently! =)

It's so much fun watching our boys enjoy the holidays!

Yesterday I made globs, snowballs and scott block candy bars. Today i've made Gluten Free peanut butter cookies and working on GF shortbread. I also plan on making fudge and fudge puddles!

Our family gets together on Christmas Eve for a little party with finger foods and lots of goodies.

Santa's Christmas Tree Forest

I just want to say thank you to everyone who voted for our photo on Facebook! You all are awesome! We came in first! So be looking out for a thank you giveaway coming soon!

On Saturday the family went to Satna's Christmas Tree Forest! Imagine that! Santa has a forest here in Florida! =)

We didn't see any reindeer but we did see these adorable little baby goats...

And these unique geese that reminded me of Gussy! =)

Look at their feathers! Aren't they classy?

Ethan thought these goats were funny!

We picked out a northern tree since they were half price this close to Christmas. Yay! We like the sturdy northern furs and they smell good too!

If you were quick you might be able to catch a glimpse of one of Santa's elves rushing through the trees! They are busy this time of year you know!
