I hate confronation

I'm the kind of girl who avoids confrontation at almost any cost.

I hate getting into debates that border on arguments. So most of the time on this blog you won't find me diving into the middle of hot topics. Every one is entitled to their opinions and I respect that. I also think we can learn from each other if we take the time to hear each other out.

A friend and I have been talking about this and we both don't want to push people away by what we write. There are some things i've wanted to write about but haven't wanted to start up a big debate or argument. Or i don't feel like i can write well enough that it'll makes sense to other people. Things make sense in my head until i try to write it down! =)

I guess it comes down to who are we trying to please? Who are we writing our blogs for? You can't please everybody. It's impossible. There are always going to be people who disagree. And that's ok. They give us their thoughts and feedback (preferably in a kind way) and hopefully we will be able to learn from each other.

If for some reason the reader is offended by what they read then they simply don't have to read anymore. I'm not going to sugar coat what I believe. I'm also not trying to offend anyone or personally attack them.

So that being said come back tomorrow to read part 2 of the health care post by Rachel! =)

Have any of you struggled with this? Please share your thoughts with me.

I have to smile...cuz your sweet. :)

No worries, girl. I don't believe you offended anyone, ever.

It was rather comments, or a comment that I thought came across poorly.

I think everyone's take on this is interesting, not right, but interesting. ;)

So don't be mistaken. You didn't upset anyone by your post.

p.s. I forgot to comment on the new hair cut. Very nice! I just can't get over the fact that he's never had a hair cut, AND he's a boy!!! Crazy! I bet he has a lot of hair, it's just so tightly curled..hee hee. Ash has had 14 inches cut off already...insane!

Okay, I gotta go - maybe I'll write you an email later. :P :)

I understand about not wanting conflict on your blog.

I have hesitated at times to post certain things because I know some people will be upset. So sometimes I wait - to make sure that I need to post it.

God is good Melissa - He will give you guidance and if He lays something on your heart...well.

Love you all!

You should write for you, and if people are offended about what you wrote; well, they don't have to read you. Keep it up girl.

You won't offend me. That's what makes the blogging world so fun. All of our differences! If we all thought alike... how boring would that be. Go for it.
