They're off on an adventure...

Elijah and Dustin

My mom is taking Elijah to the fire station today! On the way there they are going to pick up a friend, Dustin. We know one of the fire men so he's going to show Elijah and Dustin around. My mom promised to take lots of pictures but I wish I could see Elijah's excitement at seeing a real fire truck in person. He's going to love it! We watched Fireproof last week and when I told him he was going to get to go to the fire station he said "Like in the movie?" And one of his favorite trucks here is his Uncle Andrew's old ladder fire truck. It must run in the family. My Uncle Kent is an awesome fireman in Clearwater!

The reason I stayed behind is i'm feeling the time running out to get things done before we leave next Wednesday. I'm going to start sorting out our room and organizing what we're taking and what we're leaving behind. It's amazing how much stuff we've accumilated in such a short time! Since December we've had Christmas, a baby born and two birthdays. With such generous friends we're bursting at the seems of our little room. I'm not complaining at all! I just need to organize it a bit better. So that's what i'm off to do today.

I'll post pictures of Firemen Elijah and Dustin when they get back. And hopefully mom will get herself in a picture or two as well.
