I Fell in Love Today

Oh yes, I did! With ten little toes and one little nose. We got to see our baby for the first time this morning! In black and white anyway. I had an ultrasound and we were able to see our little one very clearly. We saw his/her sweet little nose and toes and he/she kept putting his/her hands up in front of his/her face.
It was amazing!

The midwife who did the scan said they don't tell you the sex of the baby because they are wrong so often!
We have to go back in a few weeks for a more detailed scan so maybe they will be able to tell at that time. But for now it was enough for us to see his/her face.

I felt the baby move for sure yesterday. I've thought I've felt it before but I wasn't sure. But yesterday was defiantly little kicks!

Alicia shared this sweet poem with me when we found out we were expecting. Then she put it on her blog when she shared her good news.
Here it is a poem "from" the baby.

"I do not have a face to see,
Or put inside a frame.
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss,
I don't yet have a name.
You can't yet hold my tiny hands,
'Nor whisper in my ear.
It's still too soon to sing a song,
or cuddle me so near. But all will change come January,
That’s when they say I'm due.
I'm your new addition,
I can't wait to meet you.
All I ask between now and then
Is your patience while I grow.
I promise I'll be worth the wait,
Because of all the love we'll know.
I cannot wait to be a part
Of this wonderful family!"

This is so sweet. I love reading about your pregnancy. My husband and I were not able to conceive and we adopted two wonderful boys, but it so thrills my heart to read your blog posts about your pregnancy -- it's such a wonderful gift from God.
