Hi friends,
We arrived safely this morning in Northern Ireland after a good trip from Florida.
It was hard saying goodbye to my family and friends. I really hate goodbyes! In some ways I think that it is easier being the one doing the leaving than the being the ones left behind.
On our first flight to Newark from Orlando Elijah was so excited to take off. He enjoyed looking out the window and watching a little boy who was sitting right behind us. He sat still and played much better than he did on our last trip.
The highlight of our travels yesterday was meeting my Aunt and Uncle and family in Newark. They drove three hours to meet us there. It took them longer to drive to the airport than it took for us to fly up from Florida! We were so greatful that they took the time to come see us and spend some time with us. After we met up in the airport we went to get something to eat outside of the airport. It was so nice to see them and to get away from airports for a while. Aunt Deanna wrote a great post with pictures from yesterday. Check it out. It made me laugh seeing the pictures and remembering the fun. Elijah enjoyed all his cousins. He and Kyle hit it off right away when Kyle shared his Tomas the train toy. (Aunt Deanna, i thought of Kyle this afternoon when we went down to the house we're going to live in and Elijah's Nana had bought him a Tomas the train blanket set for his bed. Now he has one just like Kyle!)Overlooking the airport runways from the roof of the parking lot. We had clear view of Newark and New York city too!
It's Sarah's 6th birthday today! Happy Birthday dear cousin!
(This picture is from Aunt Deanna's blog. She has all the good pictures on her post! =)
This is Elijah, Sarah and Kyle)
I was so excited when I saw Elijah nodding off to sleep on our flight to Belfast later that night! It was wonderful! Once we got in the air he slept the whole way over! That made the flight so easy! I think just the idea and dread of the long plane trip wore me out more than the actual thing!
The weather was beautiful when we got here. Cool and breezy, nice and refreshing after the Florida humidity.
Elijah has already been out to help his Grandad feed the cows.
That's it for now. Thanks for taking the time to visit our blog!

Were you able to sleep? How’s the jetlag? Can’t wait to see pics of the new place
Miss ya
Much love from (:Crystal:)
We prayed that Elijah would sleep for you and that you and Geoff would get to rest as well!
No sooner had we left the airport than Alicia called me and told me their exciting news! What a wonderful day, to spend with you all and then to hear that our other married niece is expecting as well!
That is so exciting about Elijah's new Thomas bedding! Kyle loves his.
We are thankful for our time with you!
Welcome to this side of the pond!
Maybe when we next visit John's family in Belfast we'll come visit you at your church.
Love to you all and God bless you.
Yay, glad you made it safely!! I bet it was hard to leave, I cant imagine!! So glad Elijah fell asleep, Auntie Dee told me to pray that he would!! Glad you are enjoying the weather too, I bet it is a relief from the Florida humidity!! Are you jet lagged?? I know that being jet lagged and pregnant is quite the combination!!! ;)
