Enter With Hope and God's Peace...

... those are the words above the emergency room doors at Florida Hospital DeLand. I walked under them for the second time this spring to go see my dear hubby in the ER. He had an accident at work yesterday involving a chainsaw and his leg. God is good, he'll be ok. He got cut right above his left knee and he'll be off work for a couple weeks at least but it could have been a lot worse. It's pretty deep but he didn't break any bones. He went into surgery yesterday to get it cleaned out and stitched up. We haven't gotten to talk to the doctor yet. They kept him over night and will release him later today.
Elijah and I are off now to get his percriptions filled and stock up on ice packs then to the hospital.
Thanks for your prayers.

Oh My...how scary. It reminds me of the call I got about a year and a half ago when my hubby got injured at work. The injury took over our life for a very long time. I hope your hubby's recovery goes well.

Melissa! Wow - We will be praying for Geoff's recovery!

Meanwhile, if you all want something to do while he is recovering, a nice trip to visit you Aunt and Uncle would be delightful! :0)

I just re-read what I wrote - I did not mean you should leave him at home to recover, I meant for you all to come! Whew!

If he is to have physical therapy, get him in a pool kind!!!

This could have been worse and I am glad to hear it didn't break bones, etc..

I am so glad he will be ok. These things are so scary.

I am sure Elijah will love having Daddy home for the next couple of weeks.

Take care!

Glad he will be ok. This is such a small world we live in, our music minister at our church is from DeLand and his family still lives there.
