The Nutcracker Ballet

Today was pretty full but i'll just give you the highlights.
For the last two weeks I've been looking forward to today! The Russian Ballet of Orlando presented The Nutcracker at Northland church this afternoon and it was amazing! I saw next to a lady and her granddaughter and the little girl kept asking "when's the princess coming out?" They all looked like princesses to me! Some of the dancers were so little! And so cute!
The little Asian girls from the Chinese Dance totally stole the show.
I thought it was so romantic when Clara and her nutcracker prince preformed their enchanting duet. sigh So romantic. =)

Then this evening I took Elijah to see the DeLand Christmas Parade. West Volusia Tree Service (the company Geoff works for) was in it! Yes, Geoff was in the parade! He did so good with decorating the truck, chipper and tractor! I was impressed. =) Elijah loved seeing all the lights and things but since he didn't get his nap today he was really tired by the time we got home. I put him to bed as soon as we got home about 7:30. Hopefully he will still sleep all night.
Well, i'm off to bed too. All this entertainment has worn me out! I'll drift off to sleep with the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy drifting through my head. =)

Goodnight,

I was very happy to read your "review" about the Nutcracker performance at Northland Church, most especially your comment about the "little Asian girls" stealing the show. My 4 year old daughter, Natalya, was the little red headed girl in the Chinese Tea dance. She will be thrilled when I read your review to her tonight!

Thank you!

Keith

Hi Keith,
Thanks so much for your comment! You can tell Natalya, that she is still bringing a smile to my face whenever I think about them!
I'm sure you are very proud of your sweet daughter!
All the best.
