A fun, floury, mess!

Come join us! We're cutting out sugar cookies!

The first step is to get a friend or two over to join you.
Then you get out the tools you'll need and flour them down so they don't stick to the dough.
Then you pat the dough into the perfect shape.
Roll it out carefully.
Don't forget to dust your hair with the flour to make it look like you've worked really hard!
Finally you put the cookies on a tray and into the oven.
Remember to take them out of the oven!
Thank you, Renae, for helping us cut out our Christmas cookies this afternoon!

Here's Elijah talking (more like listening) to his grandad in Northern Ireland. We use Skype to talk to family and friends overseas. It's a free program on your computer where you can talk for free from computer to computer. It's really clear, just like (sometimes even better than) the telephone. Or you can make calls to some one's home phone but it's still really cheap. Geoff was talking to his family earlier and Elijah was talking away until he got the headset on. Then he went quiet. In just two weeks we will get to talk in person! Yay!

All for now,

Sometimes technology is just the best! I am so glad that your family can stay in touch when you live so many miles apart.
You must be so excited about seeing each other soon.
