Thank You!

Becky K. at Hospitality Lane surprised and blessed me, as well as a couple others, with the Rockin' Girl Blogger award! How exciting! She totally made my day! =)

I started this blog as a way for our family over seas, and our friends near and far, to keep in touch and up to date. I never thought that i would be making some new friends along the way! It's been really great!

Thank you, Becky!

Now I get the chance to pass along this award to three people...

I'd like to pass it on to my friend Esther who totally rocks! We have been friends since, well, before birth! =) Even though we live a few states apart and i haven't seen her in a couple years I feel like we visit everyday through our blogs. She has a little girl not much older than Elijah and has a site written from her daughter's point of view. It's really cute the way she talks about the new things she's learning and doing. Esther definitely has her hands full with a husband, kids and going back to school! So Esther, keep up the good work. I miss you!

Carrie, she is the reason I even have a blog in the first place. I met Carrie about two years ago when my husband and I moved to PA to go through the training with New Tribes Mission. Carrie is now in Missouri finishing up the training and she's planing on going to South America as a missionary.

She's been a really great friend. I remember seeing Carrie sitting out on the swing set one night so I went over to talk to her. I'm so glad I did! A new friendship was born that evening. =) I was pregnant with Elijah at the time and later on when I was too large to bend over she painted my toenails for me! Only a true friend would happily do that! =) She also cleaned our apartment for us before we came home from the hospital with Elijah. Thanks Carrie!
Anna, has a web site for her daughter Ashlee. I met Anna in England. Wow, that was five years ago! We both went to England for bible school and her room was right across the hall from mine.
Anna, remember the day you left your window open and it snowed while we were in class and the snow got all over your room? We made snowballs out of it and went to find some victims! I'm usually a terrible aim, i can't hit the broad side of a barn but that snowball hit Geoff (my future husband) right in the ear!
We kept in touch through email since then and then we both started blogs so that makes it even easier! I love seeing the pictures and videos she puts up.

Bye for now!
