Rachel, you asked if it gets cold enough here in Florida to wrap up in scarves? Not normally, but his morning Elijah got to wear his cute lil' shirt and vest to church!

Treasures! These are two sweet gifts brought to me by my little boy yesterday.
Wasn't that thoughtful of him?
Actually, to tell you the truth, I asked Elijah if he would pick me a flower and he brought me... drum roll please...a stick... isn't that just like a boy! =) Of course I thanked him for the lovely stick... he thought it was worth picking up so I thought it was lovely. Then he brought me this bright... cheerful... weed. Uh. i mean flower! =) It's a start. =)

We enjoyed our first fire in our fireplace last night! Geoff chopped some wood and before long we had a crackling fire blazing away! Thanks Geoff, I really enjoyed it!

Thanks for praying for Parker, the little boy with cancer. He no longer needs our prayers. Tonight he is enjoying the songs of angles and resting in the arms of Jesus. Now it is his family who need our prayers for comfort and peace. Parker's mom and dad said that Parker is the lucky one... he only had to wait two years to meet Jesus. Yet in spite of that comfort their hearts are still breaking. I'm sure they would really appreciate prayer right now.

Thanks for popping over and entering the giveaway drawing.

Elijah looks so adorable in this sweater set!

As I look back on the times when my boys were young I think onw of my favorite things was getting to dress them in whatever I wanted.
No more! At 15 and 16 they have opinions!...enjoy!

Hey Melissa,

Don't you know a weed is only a plant we didn't plant in our garden? hee hee

Actually, it looks like a wildflower, whose name I can't remember right now.

What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
