Welcome Home

For those friends and family members who live too far away to come visit easily, i though we could take a little tour together. I was going to wait until everything is up and put together but that may take a while. =) So just keep in mind that there is still pictures to hang and books to get put in book cases and things like that to finish. Shall we get started?

I like how the house is set back a bit from the road.

If you ever come visit, look for this sign down by the road.

I hope you always feel welcome in our home. We love having people over.

As soon as you come in the front door the kitchen in on your right. This is the gathering place most of the time. At least when there is food involved... which is a lot.

This is one of our favorite games, Settlers of Catan. Lots of fun!
Straight ahead is the living room with the vaulted ceilings and fire place. The high ceilings make the room seem big. This picture was taken from the kitchen, though the window over the sink.

On one side of the living room (to the right) is the door to our bedroom and bath. Sorry i couldn't get a good angle for the picture here. Lots of setting up still to be done in here. We want to set up a desk/office in that corner. I'm looking forward to that.
On the other side of the house is the guest room, bathroom and Elijah's room.
Here is the guest room. Care to come for a visit? We've got the bed set up for you already!

Guest/Elijah's bath.
And this is our little man's room. It's very blue. But I think he likes it. =)

I love spending time with him in here.
Out back we have room for a pool and lots of future flowers and gardens. I'm looking forward to that too! =)
Well, that's it. I hope you enjoyed the tour.
The longer we live here the more it feels like home. This has been such a great place to "fall back and regroup". The last few years have been one move after another. We've been married for a little over three years and this was our fifth move!
Thanks for taking the time to visit!

I love your house Melissa!

Don't worry that you are not done settling in, and remember that furniture etc, takes time and money. It will come, in time, and as you live there, you will get a better idea of just where you want things.

You are making a home for your family and that is never finished!
