Home

Home is where you can be silent
and still be heard.
Where you can ask and find out
who you are.
Where people laugh with you
about yourself.
Where sorrow is divided
and joy multiplied.
Where we share and love and grow.

When Geoff and I got married some one told me that the wife sets the thermostat for the home. She can make the home a warm and welcoming place where her family and friends like to be or through her words and actions she can make it a cold and uncomfortable place to be.
Like the poem above says, I want our home to be a place where we can share and love and grow together. And not only for our family but also for our friends. I want them to always feel welcome in our home.
We've been here six days now. It has been great but it will take some time for it to start feeling like home. We've just begun to fill it up with good memories and fun times.
Our DSL modem came in the mail today so Geoff just got us hooked up to the Internet here at our house. Yay! Now I can update and share some new pictures with you all!

Wow, i made bread and it turned out well! Usually the gluten free bread I make for Geoff turns out heavy and crumbly but this mix rose well and doesn't fall apart when we cut it! I must say, some of the gluten free bread I've seen in the stores don't look very appetizing but these little loaves look like "normal" delicious bread!

I call him "Mr. Suds".

Here's Elijah enjoying his new toy.
Melony Coppi brought him a house warming gift and he loves it! It was the first thing he wanted to do when he woke up the next day. Usually he likes to be held and snuggled for a few minuets but not that day! He wanted down to play with his new toy!

He was eating a Popsicle and holding the frozen part instead of the stick so his little fingers got cold! Brrr
