A Friend is a Treasure

A friend is someone we turn to,

when our spirits need a lift.

A friend is someone we treasure,

for our friendship is a gift.

A friend is someone who fills our lives,

with beauty, joy and grace.

And make the world we live in,

a better and happier place.

(This is a post from Melissa.) I want to wish my dear friend Katy a very happy birthday! She turns 29 today. We met over in England when i was in Bible school. She was in the same missionary training class as Geoff. We had lots of fun times and became really good friends that year.
Katy now lives in Idaho with her husband and daughter, Florence. They are expecting their second baby in two months!
Below is a picture of Katy, Esther and I from when we were in England together. These two friends are very special to me even though we live so far apart and don't get to see each other very often. I thank God for their friendships.

Everyone should have a friend like you
