Anchorage, Eagle River and Palmer friends. Drop your Christmas trees are dropped off at Carrs/Safeway parking lots, where they will be recycled into wood chips for local trails.
Christmas Trees are accepted seasonally from December 28 until January 15 at Carrs stores in Anchorage, Eagle River and Palmer.
My favorite part of all this is when Geoff brings home ornaments that he's found that were left on the trees!

Great way to recycle, we take our tree and place it in the yard and add suet to the tree for the birds, and when it is dried we throw it in the fish pond for the fish to have and enjoy!
I always leave ornaments on the tree , and like the idea of you getting the ones from the trees! Wishing you and your family a most blessed and happy New Year!.
