Alaska Skies are Full of Promise

Some times it pays to take out the trash yourself. ;)

I would have totally missed this if I hadn't taken out the trash right then!

 

The first thing I noticed when I went out the other night was the evening sunlight lighting up the yellow leaves of the tree across the street.

 

Then I saw the beautiful rainbow in the sky!

It got darker as I watched and a double rainbow came out at one point. So pretty.

 

The area to the left of the tree was the darkest and where the colors shone the brightest.

hmmm, there's a lesson in there somewhere... :)
