I posted on facebook yesterday about friends of mine in New York who lost their home and everything in it, including a nursery for their 5th baby due in two weeks, to a fire on Sunday. I shared that I was going to send a gift card and asked if anyone wanted to join me.
This time of year can be tough financially for many folks so I didn't really expect much response but I wanted to put the need, and the opportunity to give, out there anyway.
I was SO touched and blessed to see you all respond and your willingness to help a family you don't even know! Thank you!
You offered gift cards, clothes and one family was willing to drive 4 hours to drop off a load of household items. Amazing!
