Chocolate, butter cream frosting and sprinkles...
Remember the sprinkles?
This is why we had them all out...
The boys helped to decorate Ethan's birthday cake last week.
(I know, I'm really behind on keeping up this here ol' blog o' mine!)
As you can see he was pretty impressed with his handy work. =)
Ethan loved blowing out his candle.
And promptly picked off and ate the candy letters...
He didn't even care about the cake. He just wanted the frosting. Which worked out great because his big brother didn't care for the frosting. All he wanted was the cake!

Missionary Technology
This may not look like much to you...
But i'm so excited! It's my very own tool box! Full of things that are going to help fix things and make things work on the mission field. The thing is, you have to know how to use these tools in order for them to make a difference! That my friends, is what our Missionary Technology class is all about!
The goal of this class is to help missionaries handle the physical aspects of living overseas so they can present the gospel and see tribal people come to know the Lord.

Today is the first day of our last semester here in Missouri!
Elijah is excited about starting school agian.
Ethan will be in a new class this semester. He's moving up to the toddler room. Look out toddler room!! =)
This past Saturday on Ethan's birthday we took the boys and Ruth to Bass Pro Shops.
Ethan passed out in the America's Great Hunting Hall.
We enjoyed some time in front of the gigantic fire place.

We're off to St Louis today to pick up a friend from across the pond!
My friend Ruth from Northern Ireland is coming for a visit. She'll be with us for three weeks. I'm trying to think of things to keep her busy and entertained. It's Missouri... in the middle of winter... it isn't too exciting. We don't even have snow! We have cold caves, dead trees and frozen hills. One thing we DO have is another week and a half of break until classes start again! We'll enjoy it!

Baby Whitman
Before Christmas I had the joy of taking newborn photos for a friend's baby boy.
He was only ten days old.
He was welcomed into a wonderful family by daddy, mommy and big brother Caedmon.
