12 Things I'm Looking Forward To

I get to meet this little princess this weekend!
Elijah and I are going to be flying to Florida and spending the weekend with my family.
Elijah is so excited about this trip together. I'm excited too!

Here are the 12 things I'm looking forward to this weekend:
Special adventure with my son.
Breakfast with my momma.
Crafting with my friend.
Hugging my sister.
Snuggling with my niece.
Baby shower planning.
Warm weather.
Newborn photo shoot.
Baby Shower for Baby T.
A trip to the beach.
Palm trees.
Coming home to the rest of my boys!

Things to do on a rainy day

Saturday we were stuck indoors all day due to the weather.
With two energetic little boys in my house to entertain I was in need of some ideas and lots and lots of patients!

So here's my list of things to do on a rainy day.

Legos and blocks did the trick for a while...

Break out the flour and coco and do some baking!
We made some yummy gluten free brownies.
Ethan's already licking his lips.=)

Books are a rainy days best friend!
Reading...

Hand your camera to your 5 year old and you are sure to get some intersting photos like i did... of the dust bunnies behind my couch. yikes!
My personal fav. Take nice long naps...

And when all else fails, put on your rain coat and go jump in some puddles!

Morning Light

What a differeance an hour makes! This was on my walk to class Monday morning after the time change. The morning light was so gorgeous I just had to stop and snap some pictures! It made me a little late for class but I couldn't let that light get away with out trying to capture it!

God is good and I'm so thankful that He chooses to bless us with His beautiful creation.

I have a niece! A sweet little girl was born into our family on March 14th!.She was 7lbs 5oz, 21 inches long.

Oh blessed sunshine!

As we got out of classes yesterday the sun was just beginning to break through the gray gloomy clouds that had been hanging around for days! I was so happy to see the sun, and even happier that it stuck around all afternoon! The kids and I spent most of the afternoon out side. Lovely!

Moving Up

Ethan was moved up to an older class this semester. He moved out of the Mini's and into the Toddlers!

Here's a couple pictures from his class the other day.

He's growing and learning so much these days. I've noticed that he's starting to put words together into short sentences. This morning I was sitting with Elijah on the couch just after the boys had woken up and Ethan came over and said "Hold me too!"


The weather has been getting warmer and they boys have really enjoyed spending more time out of doors.


Can you believe it's March 1st? I can't. It doesn't seem possible. Time just seems to be moving faster and faster these days. Is that happening to you too?
